Our very talented team won again against Sussex in our fourth and last match in our league. This means we have played four and won four and go on to the Quarter Finals in Dorset at the Dorchester B.C. on Saturday 7th July. A coach will leave Sutton B.C. at 07:45 and Egham B.C. at 08:30 on the 7th to take players and supporters to the venue. Any spectators are most welcome. Give Secretary Bobbie a ring or email to book your seat **GAME POSTPONED**
Surrey played Oxfordshire in our third game in the Johns Trophy league at Shiplake B.C. winning by 3 shots. This was a real nail biter. This gave Surrey 18 points to Oxfordshire's 4. Sussex who we play on Saturday 23rd at Sutton also won their game so this will be 'the crunch'. Please come along to support. We need all your voices to shout our team on.
Continuing our success against Middlesex, our Johns trophy team beat Buckinghamshire by 138 shots to 107 shots. This gave us 18 points and Bucks 4. Why not try to come to Shiplake B.C. Oxfordshire on Saturday 16th June at 1.30pm for our next game. Coach leaves Sutton at 10.45am and Egham at 11.30am. Contact Secretary Bobbie to book your seat on the coach.
Our first game in this league went very well indeed. We played Middlesex away and won on five out of the six rinks with a winning total of 140 shots to 81. This gives us a magnificent start of 20 points to Middx 2. Come and watch our next game on Saturday 9th June at Egham start time 1.30pm v Bucks. We need all our supporters to cheer us on.
WALKER CUP
Our winning Walker Cup team played Middlesex in our first round but unfortunately we lost by 41 shots to 29.
