GENTLE REMINDER

 

A new National Championships  Women’s Senior Fours (55 and Over on 1st April annually) – 21 ends/Two bowls each player will begin in 2017.

 

This will be administered within each county as per all other National Championship events, with the winner ONLY from each county qualifying for the National Championships at Leamington Spa.All four players in the Senior Fours must come from the same club, and must represent that same club from which all other National Championship events have been entered. The National Winners of the Senior Fours will be England’s representatives at the following year’s British Isles Championships. (The Tony Allcock Trophy (60 and Over on 1st April annually) will continue in its current form).

 

 

 

 

We are sorry to report that VERA DEANE of EPSOM Ladies who was aged 97 and a County Bowler passed away on the 17th August. The funeral will be held on Monday 5th September at Lady Chapel, Guildford Cathedral Stag Hill GU2 7UP at 10:30am with internment after at St Martha's. The reception will then follow in the Refectory at Guildford Cathedral. website www.guildford-cathedral.org
