23rd January - Markers Course being run at Egham

Egham are hosting another EBUA (English Bowls Umpires Association) Markers Course at Egham Bowls Club and they are hoping that those of you that didn't manage attend last time will be able to attend this one.

It is a very good course for everyone of any standard to attend and you will learn a lot.  The course is run over 2 mornings on 1st & 2nd April from 9 until 2.30 (at the latest).  The Saturday will be a fun Bowls knowledge quiz - dont worry you will be in teams and there is no pass or fail.  The Sunday we take to the green and all take part in measuring and the more practical side of Marking.  The course is being run by Vic & Ian the nearly famous Middlesex Comedy Umpiring Duo - these guys really make the 2 days pass quickly and are very entertaining.

The total cost for the course is just £5 and you do receive an EBUA Markers Certificate which lasts 4 years. CLICK HERE FOR flyer
